The legal gray-area surrounding drone use isn’t stopping creative people from using them. Despite the obvious safety risks associated with flying a drone into a fireworks show, the result is so breathtaking that people will be emboldened to attempt similar feats going forward. Drones have a clear value in film-making and we should expect amateurs and Hollywood to ramp up their use.
